Welcome to The Artful Adventure website! By using our website and purchasing our services or products, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.

 

General Website Use

 

  • Acceptance of Terms: Your access to and use of this website is conditioned on your acceptance of these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the website.

  • Inteletary Property: The content, design, logo, images, and artwork on this website (including all ceramic designs and workshop materials) are the property of The Artful Adventure and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, copy, or redistribute any content without prior written consent.

  • Accuracy of Information: We strive to ensure all information regarding pricing, product descriptions, and workshop details is accurate, but we do not guarantee it is error-free. We reserve the right to correct any errors and change information at any time without prior notice.

 

Workshop and Class Bookings

 

  • Payment: All workshop and class fees must be paid in full at the time of booking to secure your spot, unless otherwise agreed upon for private events.

  • Risk of Breakage: Ceramics involves risk! While we take every precaution, pieces may occasionally crack, break, or sustain damage during the high-heat kiln-firing process. By booking a workshop, you acknowledge this risk. If your piece is damaged, we will work with you to find a fair solution (such as a credit for the damaged item or toward a future workshop).

  • Turnaround Time: Due to the necessary drying time and the two-stage kiln-firing process required for durable ceramics, finished workshop pieces will be delivered within 2 to 4 weeks after the workshop date.

  • Refunds and Cancellations: All workshop cancellations and refund requests are subject to our separate Workshop & Class Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these terms.

 

Product Sales

 

  • Handmade Variation: Due to the nature of handmade ceramics, each piece is unique. You acknowledge that minor variations in color, size, glaze application, and texture are inherent characteristics of the work and are not considered defects.

  • No Returns or Exchanges: All product sales are final. We do not offer returns, exchanges, or refunds simply for a change of mind.

  • Damaged Goods: If a product arrives damaged, you must contact us at [Your Email Address] within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence of the damage to both the item and the packaging to be eligible for a refund or replacement.

 

Limitation of Liability (Crucial Section)

 

The Artful Adventure and its owner(s) shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from the use or inability to use the services or products, or any errors or inaccuracies on the website.

 

Governing Law

 

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
