We guarantee that your finished work—whether made by you in a workshop or purchased from our collection—is professionally prepared, glazed, and fired to be a durable, lasting piece of art.

The Beauty of the Handmade
We believe the minor imperfections are part of the story. Please remember that all of our pieces are hand-built, not machine-made. This means that slight variations in glaze coverage, texture, size, and shape are a natural and beautiful result of the creative process and the heat of the kiln.

We promise that if any piece is damaged during our firing process or due to a clear defect in craftsmanship, we will work with you to find a satisfactory solution. We are dedicated to ensuring your Artful Adventure results in a treasure you love.

Workshop & Class Refund Policy
We understand that plans can change. Please review our updated refund and cancellation policy carefully before booking a class or private workshop with Artful Adventure.

Refund Policy for Publicly Scheduled Events

This policy applies to individual registrations for classes and workshops scheduled by Artful Adventure at fixed dates and locations.
​
7+ Days Before Start - Full Refund - The full amount paid will be refunded to your original form of payment.
​
2 – 6 Days Before Start - Full Credit - We will apply the full amount paid as credit toward any future scheduled class or private workshop with The Artful Adventure.
​
Less than 2 Days Before Start - No Refund or Credit - Due to the preparation and material costs involved, we cannot offer a refund or credit. You are welcome to transfer your spot to a friend or family member.
​
No-Show - No Refund or Credit- We are unable to provide a refund or credit for missed classes.
​
Refund Policy for Private, In-Home Workshops
This policy applies to private group bookings where the client chooses the date, time, and location.

7+ Days Before Start - Full Refund - The full booking deposit/payment will be refunded.
3 – 6 Days Before Start - Full Credit - We offer full credit to reschedule your private workshop to a new date within 6 months. No monetary refund is available.
Less than 3 Days Before Start - No Refund or CreditWe retain the full booking fee. We appreciate as much notice as possible for private events.

Cancellations Initiated by The Artful Adventure
In the rare event that we must cancel a workshop due to instructor illness, low enrolment, or unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered a choice between a full refund or full credit toward any future class or private booking.

Rescheduling and Transfers

Public Classes: Spots are transferable up until the day of the class. You must notify us of the transfer so we can update our roster.

Private Workshops: Private sessions may be rescheduled one time without penalty if the request is made at least 3 days in advance.

Our Clay Promise: Handling Breakage

We strive for perfection, but the final results are in the hands of the kiln! In the unlikely event that your creation cracks or breaks during firing or glazing, we promise to reach out and find a satisfactory solution for you, ensuring your Artful Adventure is a positive one.
Product Refund and Return Policy​

General Returns and Exchanges
Due to the unique, handcrafted nature of our ceramic goods, all sales are final. We do not offer returns, exchanges, or refunds simply for a change of mind.
We take great pride in the quality and unique characteristics of our handmade pieces. Please review all photos and descriptions carefully before completing your purchase.
Damages and Breakage
If your item arrives damaged due to shipping, we sincerely apologize. Please follow these steps immediately:

Contact us within 48 hours of receiving the package at Liz@artfuladventure.ca

Provide a detailed description of the damage and include photographs of the item and the original packaging.

We will review the damage and determine the best course of action, which may include a full refund or credit toward a replacement piece.
Note: Claims reported after 48 hours of delivery cannot be guaranteed a refund or replacement.
Handcrafted Variation
Please remember that every piece is unique and minor variations in color, glaze application, and size are inherent to the ceramic hand-building and firing process. These variations are not considered defects and do not qualify for a refund.
Custom Orders
All custom commissions and personalized orders are non-refundable and non-exchangeable once the order has been confirmed and production has begun.
