Mug Workshop

Book a Session of In-Home Mug Making!

Unleash your inner barista and join us for a hands-on ceramic experience! In this mobile workshop, we skip the pottery wheel and dive into the tactile world of hand-building. You’ll learn how to transform a simple slab of clay into a stunning, functional mug that fits perfectly in your hands.

Whether it's a night in with friends or a book club gathering, a hand crafted mug is a perfect way to spend an evening.

Choose Your Vibe
Whether you want to craft a "Positive Intention" mug to start your mornings with mindfulness, or a piece featuring an image or quote of your choice, the creative direction is entirely up to you!
I love bringing a modern twist to traditional clay. We use 3D-printed technology to create specialty image stamps and custom word sets, allowing you to "ink" your personality directly into the clay with precision.
Above all, this is a no-judgment zone. My goal isn’t to turn you into a master potter in two hours—it’s to share my love of clay and facilitate a fun, creative experience where you can relax and play. Whether your mug is perfectly sleek or "perfectly imperfect," I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

How It Works
No previous experience with clay is needed! We bring the clay, the tools, the specialized instruction, and we even handle the cleanup. You truly don't have to lift a finger—except to create your perfect mug.

This workshop is divided into two distinct parts to ensure your mug is durable and beautiful:

-
Part One: The Build – We’ll focus on the fundamentals of construction. You’ll design your mug’s shape, securely attach a comfortable handle, and add personalized textures or stamps.

-
Part Two: The Glaze – Once your mug has been fired for the first time, we return for the second session! This is where you’ll apply professional-grade glazes to give your piece its final colour and a food-safe, glossy finish.

We handle the technical side—the slow drying and firings. Your finished mugs will be ready within one or two weeks of your final session. This allows for the necessary drying time and two professional kiln firings to ensure your mug is durable and food-safe.
